Behind the Lens
Kelly Hall Tarn in the Lake District. I had some nice light and colour for a few minutes. A beautiful place.
The tarn is a short drive from where I was staying in Windermere, situated on the west side of Coniston Water.
I've seen various photographs of the tarn before but I always like to approach a new to me scene with my own vision, and I've never seen a photo of the tree like this in portrait mode before. There probably are but it's a new to me one anyway.
Definitely a place to revisit as it will look fantastic in every season this place, especially in Winter with some snow and frost.
